I have an application which has neen running for a number of years, firstly on Access2000 then XP and now on Access 2003.It uses many currency fields for invoicing , credit notes etc. Each field which is of currency type has the decimal property set to 2.Up until recently the ATB balanced fine but lately it has been a few cents out. The reason is that some amounts have been put in with 3 decimal places and some calculations (eg GST of 10% of $398.68 returning to the GST field a value of $39.868) returning 3 decimal places.I guess with the calculations, I can code to make sure only ...

Decimal number to percentage formula (newbie question)
I've got a column full of numbers like 0.5, 1.0, etc. I need them to looklike 0.500%. I figured out how to format the cells so that 0.5 looks like0.500, but when I change the cell format to percentage, it makes 0.500 into50.000%.So I figured out how to make a formula that divides 0.500 by 100(=R1C6/100), resulting in 0.005, which I can format to a percentage and get0.500%.Where I'm stumped is in applying that formula to the entire column. Hi Out There, Does anyone know if there is a way to set a part to 4 decimals, but to show 0 decimal places on the PO & SOP Screens and printouts?We would like to have the option of 4 decimals for Bills of Materials, but we don't want the orders and PO's to show 4.0000 because it forces the data entry to add a perios in order to make it a whole number. Two digit number with one decimal, or three digit number
I would like to have one decimal point in a number, unless the number is 100 in order to fit the columns in a table. Aligning columns in excel
I'm trying to create a graph in excel.There are three columns in excel.First one is the case label.Second and third are values for separate trials.The graph style i'm using is the column graph.Whenever I try to create this graph, there is always a little bit ospace between the first column and the Y axis. Welcome to the Pages forum.
Pages does allow you to align numbers on the decimal. Here's an easy way to do it:
1. Select the cells of the table you want to format, so that they have a yellow border (hold down either the shift or option key to select multiple cells).
2. Open the Inspector (View > Show Inspector; or just click on the Inspector button on the tool bar)
3. Click on the Big T in the Inspector then choose 'Tabs'.
4. On the bottom lefthand corner of the Inspector pane, you will see a Plus and Minus sign. Click on the Plus sign to add a new Tab. Choose 'Decimal' for Alignment
5. Specify the distance in from the edge of the cell for the tab (either in the box in the Inspector or via the tab button on the document ruler), and you're done.
6. Now to tab the figures in in cells, place the cursor before the number and press the option+tab keys (Pressing just tab takes you to the next cell). All figures you tab across will now line up on the decimal, regardless of whther they are positive or negative, or how many decimal places you have.
As always, play around a bit with the feature to get an idea of what it can do for you.

Right Align Decimals In Word For Mac X
- Click on this until you see the option that looks like an upside down T with a dot on the right. That's the decimal tab, and that will align numbers at the decimal point within the table. (There's another upside down T without a dot but that's the center tab stop.).
- Click on the Plus sign to add a new Tab. Choose 'Decimal' for Alignment 5. Specify the distance in from the edge of the cell for the tab (either in the box in the Inspector or via the tab button on the document ruler), and you're done.
- In the Table of Contents window, select right-align tab in the 'Between entry and Number' dropdown.
