I installed PowerPrep II 2-3 times.It get installed completely But after launching it in IE when i clicked on 'Continue' button to take test,it does nothing? |

You will find a tab opening just below the address bar in the IE ,click on it and then allow blocked content .http://www.ets.org/gre/revised_general/p...2/download |

i think the best way to tackle it is to :
after installation, go to C:Program Files (x86)ETSPOWERPREP II
or whatever your directory is,
then open the file named as ' launch ' which is a windows batch file or a bat file in the folder. allow it and there you go!

Right click on the the powerprep icon and click 'Run as administrator'.(If your OS is Win 7) |

Hi everyone,
i got the powerprep-2 installed on my laptop but does anybody know how to invoke the tests??? coz m just finding the introduction n strategy n sample ques types jus lik in the book(official guide). Pls help me in finding out how to start the tests from powerprep.

I managed to solve the problem. Please let me know if it works for you.
The readme file says you should access the 'launch.bat' file in the installed folder (normally 'C:Program Files (x86)ETSPOWERPREP II'. It could also be just 'Program Files'). However the Command window appeared and disappeared inmediately in my case.
Instead of that I entered the 'bin' folder where there is also a 'launch.bat' file but I instead clicked on the 'l.bat' file. It's working so far. (This post was last modified: 03-08-2013 05:02 AM by dsx.) |

Clicking on launch.at but ,the cmd comes and vanishes as u said but i tried as u said
clicking on l.bat in bin launches java.exe not the test.
In a friends pc the same scenario works(clicking on launch.bat).
