If not, the game will not recognize the controller. I haven't tried using only keyboard bindings, but that may also work. Note, I needed to go into the game's configuration app and set each input manually, which may or may not be necessary for you. Also, LT and RT can't be set, for some reason. Sloppy port gonna sloppy. The demo for Sonic Generations was made available on June 23, 2011, exactly 20 years after the first game was released. This is fitting, as it's a game about Sonic's history. Sometimes the controls in game do not work because of the simultaneous connection of multiple input devices. Try disabling gamepad, or, if for some reason, you have two connected keyboards or mouses, leave only one pair of devices. If you have USB Controller or Adapter plugged into your system when you run Sonic Generations, unplug it or otherwise the configuration tool will crash when you click close/start and will not save.

It did not work in a previous version

In order to play most games on Rainway iOS, you need to use the touch controller or a Bluetooth one. There are some that can strictly play with a mouse, but this is generally the case. On both iOS and browser clients, controller input on Sonic Generations doesn't work at all. I can play with a keyboard, but not a controller of any kind.

Steps

  • Make sure Steam is already open. This glitch seems to only happen if Steam is already open.
  • On Rainway iOS or browser, open Sonic Generations. If in a browser, make sure the controller is set up properly.
  • Try do do anything and see nothing happen with the controller inputs.

What happens

Nothing. Controller inputs do not do anything.

What is expected

Controller input should consistently work.

'We finally bought a couple of these for our ranch house. For quite some time, we had several mice scurrying over our heads up in the attic every night, chewing on wires and God knows what other damage. The last straw was when a squirrel or two got up there - they are very loud! Once we plugged in the Rid Tech devices, the noise was reduced dramatically by the next day! The high frequency noise that they make is inaudible to humans and pets but drives rodents absolutely crazy! They can't stand to hear it and clear out of there fast. We still have a straggler or two that we might hear once or twice a month but it's nothing in comparison to before. These are a very good buy.'
